Willamette Sailing Club could be the Portland area’s center for dinghy cruising on Willamette River, located five minutes from downtown Portland in historic John’s getting. WSC provides users with dried out storage and introducing facilities, race, sailing instruction, and a full schedule of social occasions.

WSC’s account currently totals 260 households with nearly 300 boats, and includes a variety of knowledge from newbie sailors to Olympic campaigners. WSC’s junior system attracts more than 300 youths each summer time for sailing classes, camps, liquid protection training, and race. Fleet rushing takes place on Monday and Wednesday evenings from April through September, and on Sunday afternoons during February, March and October. Fleets include Laser, Lido 14, Snipe, Tasar, Thistle, Vanguard 15, and Daysailer. As we begin a cruising period, WSC remains devoted to marketing friendship, sportsmanship, and enjoyable for Portland’s developing community of small-boat sailors and racers.
