Each summer the Santa Barbara Sailing Center looks forward to hosting our Youth Sailing Camp and a Stand-up Paddle Boarding/Kayaking camp for girls & guys ages 7-15. Through the last 35 many years our kid’s summer time programs have actually preserved a local reputation as being very fun, instructional, and special camps offered in Santa Barbara.
Our 5:1 teacher to student ratio inside our Sailing Camp can’t be beat and young ones won’t need a wetsuit (because they won’t be flipped to the liquid on our steady Capri 22’ keelboats). All of our camp instructors went through education to produce the best environment for our sailors. Our staff is comprised of lifeguards, US Coast Guard captains, and licensed instructors. During the period of five days, campers will feel confident in the helm and acquire abilities that they will be able to use for the rest of their life. Kids will take part in an enjoyable & protected surroundings in the Santa Barbara Harbor and out at water along the Santa Barbara coastline.
